This privacy policy applies to the free Android app ITI published by ATechPublisher on Google Play. Using the app means you agree to this policy. The same information is shown in the app under Settings → Privacy policy.

ITI is an independent study aid for NCVT CTS students. It is not a government app and is not affiliated with DGT, NCVT, NIMI, or Bharat Skills. It does not issue certificates, hall tickets, or official marks.

1. Who we are

2. No account

You do not create an email or password account to use ITI. You do not have to give us your name, phone number, or address. Study progress stays on your phone unless a Google service listed below receives technical data needed to run the app or show ads.

3. Data stored only on your device

These items stay in the app’s private storage on your phone. We do not upload them to ATechPublisher servers:

  • Selected trade, year, language, and theme
  • Bookmarks and continue-learning position
  • Quiz, mock test, and practical practice records
  • Downloaded textbooks, papers, and other PDFs
  • Microphone recordings if you make a practical voice note (practice only)

Uninstalling ITI deletes this local data. Settings → Clear downloaded files removes saved PDFs from the phone. We cannot restore local files after uninstall.

4. Data Google services may receive

To deliver catalogues, keep the app secure, fix crashes, send optional notices, and show ads, ITI uses Google products. Those products may process:

  • App activity (for example screens opened) via Firebase Analytics, to understand what works and to improve the app
  • Crash logs (device model, Android version, app version, and the error) via Firebase Crashlytics, to fix bugs
  • Device tokens via Firebase Cloud Messaging, to send exam or job notices if notifications are allowed
  • App Check / Play Integrity signals and a hidden guest sign-in token via Firebase App Check and Firebase Authentication, so only the genuine Play Store app can read study catalogues (browsers and other apps are blocked)
  • Study catalogues, papers, jobs, notices, and feature flags via Cloud Firestore, Firebase Realtime Database, and Firebase Remote Config (this is content delivery, not your personal profile)
  • Advertising ID and ad interaction data via Google AdMob, to show and measure ads

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your downloaded PDFs or voice notes for advertising.

5. Why we use this data

  • App functionality: load syllabus, papers, notes, jobs, and notices; protect the catalogue with App Check
  • Analytics: anonymous use so we can improve study screens
  • Crash reporting: find and fix failures
  • Notifications: optional exam or job alerts you can turn off in Settings
  • Advertising: the app is free and may show Google AdMob ads

6. Ads (Google AdMob)

ITI contains ads. Formats may include banners, native ads, interstitials, rewarded ads, rewarded interstitials, and app-open ads. You may optionally watch a rewarded ad to hide banners for a short time.

AdMob and Google may use the Android Advertising ID and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed. This is processed under Google’s policies, not by ATechPublisher as a data broker.

To limit ad personalization on Android: open device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may differ by Android version). Resetting the advertising ID is also in that menu.

7. Who data is shared with

We share technical data only with service providers needed to run ITI:

  • Google LLC (Play, Firebase, AdMob, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging)

We do not share your local notes, PDFs, or voice recordings with advertisers. If you email us, Google (Gmail) will process that message so we can reply.

Jobs, notices, Telegram groups, YouTube lectures, and government websites open in another app or browser. Those sites are not operated by ATechPublisher. Read their privacy policies before you share anything there.

8. Android permissions

  • Internet and network state: download study files, catalogues, ads, and updates
  • Notifications: optional exam or job alerts (you can refuse or turn them off)
  • Microphone: only if you choose to record a practical voice note; audio stays on the device

The app does not request contacts, SMS, call log, precise location, or camera.

9. Downloads and sharing

When you download a textbook or paper, the PDF is stored in the app’s private storage for offline reading. If you use Share, Android’s share sheet sends that file to an app you choose. We do not upload your saved PDFs to ATechPublisher servers.

10. Children

ITI is made for industrial training students, typically 14 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed as a Google Play Families app.

If you believe a child under 13 used the app in a way that sent data to Google services, email atechpublishererror@gmail.com. We will delete what we can control and guide you on device-level steps.

11. Data retention and deletion

  • On-device data: remains until you clear downloads or uninstall the app
  • Analytics and crash logs: retained by Google Firebase under Google’s retention settings
  • Ads data: retained by Google AdMob under Google’s ads policies
  • Email you send us: kept only as long as needed to answer you

There is no cloud account to delete. To remove local app data, uninstall ITI. To ask about Analytics, Crashlytics, messaging tokens, or ads identifiers, email atechpublishererror@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and we will help where the data is under our control.

You can also use Android settings to reset your advertising ID and to deny notification or microphone permission.

12. Security

Catalogue access uses HTTPS and Firebase App Check (Play Integrity) so ordinary browsers cannot scrape the study list. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Do not put passwords or Aadhaar numbers into the app; ITI does not ask for them.

We may update this policy when the app or Google requirements change. The new text will appear on this page and in the app. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

ऐप चलाने के लिए Google सेवाएँ (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, App Check, Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Remote Config और Google AdMob) तकनीकी डेटा ले सकती हैं, जैसे स्क्रीन उपयोग, क्रैश लॉग, डिवाइस टोकन और विज्ञापन आईडी। हम आपकी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी नहीं बेचते।

यह मुफ़्त ऐप विज्ञापन दिखा सकती है (बैनर, नेटिव, इंटरस्टिशियल, रिवॉर्डेड और ऐप-ओपन)। विज्ञापन वैयक्तिकरण सीमित करने के लिए Android सेटिंग → Google → Ads में Ads Personalization बंद करें।
